Neck Pain Injury Therapy

The most common causes of neck painis usuallycaused by irritation, inflammation, poor posture orinjury. Pain in the neck, aka cervical neck pain, shoulder, arm, hand, or head most frequently results from irritation of nerve roots in the region of the intervertebral foramen (between the vertebrae), orpressure on the cord in the spinal canal and can result in chronic neck pain. There a number of neck pain remedies out there, and they depend on what’s right for you.

Other neck pain causes occur whenyour neck’s normal forward curve may reduce, become straight or “military”, or even reverse its curve, which can lead to lower neck pain and arthritis neck pain. Over time, these arthritic changes in the vertebrae such as lipping or spurring (bony growths), disc-thinning or degeneration, or deterioration of muscles, ligaments and other structures may occur, leading to a more certain neck pain diagnosis. However, in spite of all these changes, there may or may not be pain, until eventually conditions that are referred to as neck pain and dizziness or neck pain and headaches happen.

The question is how to relieve neck pain? The key is to have a really good neck pain diagnosis. Lipping, spurring, and other irregularities (osteoarthritis) do not in themselves constitute a disease but are instead defense mechanisms that arise to stabilize an off-balance spine. This is how neck pain disc problems begin. Recent research has shown thatgentle chiropracticspine adjustment can reverse some of the effects of osteoarthritis – something that had previously been considered impossible, and relieve a person’s pain dramatically. When added to spinal adjustments, neck pain exercises can be helpful too. Does that sound good to you?

I take a different approach to the treatment and prevention of neck pain. After a thorough neurological examination I determine which part of the nervous system is not functioning properly. In many upper back and neck pain patients I may find a high mesencephalic output, because when there is a problem with the upper part of the neck, along with upper back neck pain, the brain can be affected and give a person a neck pain headache, among other things.

There are three parts to the brain stem: top, middle, and lower. The mesencephalon is the top part of the brain stem. A high output of the mesencephaloncan cause an increased pulse and heart rate, inability to sleep or waking up from fitful sleep, urinary tract infection, increase warmth or sweating, and sensitivity to light. Along with neck pain, do you have any of these symptoms?

Along with a high mesenphalic output, the neck pain patient may have a decreased output of the cerebellum. The cerebellum is in the back part of the brain, and it controls all of the involuntary spinal musculature. An underforming cerebellum, along with nerve irritation in the neck, can lead to vertigo and dizziness. Do you ever get that?

Other conditions that people talk about include terms like neck pain headaches, neck pain pinched nerve, neck pain stress, shoulder pain neck pain, side neck pain, side of neck pain, neck pain right side, severe neck pain and symptoms neck pain. These are unusual ways to describe what they feel, but when you hurt, you say strange things sometimes.

No matter what the condition, it is imperative that the doctor performs a thorough and comprehensive exam to determine the exact nature of the patient’s condition, so that the correct neck pain treatment can be given and he can relieve neck pain. It is important that a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist evaluate a person for the presence of any brain imbalance that may be present. If any areas of the brain are found to be under or overperforming, stimulating or calming methods can be used to balance the brain, utilizing sound, light, smell, vibration and others, along with oxygen to enhance the stimulation techniques, resulting in relief for neck pain. This approach is much more than the ordinary neck pain remedy.
